A downloadable game

Destroy monsters with the abilities of unique characters.

That's the idea of this project. There is clear a inspiration in games like Vampire Survivors in the  for example Luna (the witch girl) shoot elemental bullets of fire and ice, meanwhile Zelvy (the elf bomber) drop bombs which make a high amount of damage on each explosion. Future characters are gonna have their own gameplays styles, not just changes on the stats values.

Controls

WASD --------- movement

left click -------------- fireballs

right click ------------- ice spikes

Future features planned to add:

  1. More enemies.
  2.  Create a special class of monsters: Summoners, they will be the antagonists responsible of the high amount of monster in the dungeon and they will act as Bosses.
  3.  Make a "monsterpedia" where the people can unlock information about the characters, monsters and world.
  4. Create  more maps.
  5. Add a reroll system for the power ups, using coins.

*there's no music and sfx for now (only when you grab a gem)

Fun little VS clone.

  • Having to hold down both mouse buttons to get the most out of the witch girl's attacks felt unnecessarily more work than it should be.
  • Pixel effects pretty, make brain happy.
  • The main menu did not look good on an ultra-wide monitor with some displaced and covered elements. Would probably be best to "box" the menu into a designated area in the center but still have the background go full screen.
  • The bomb girl was annoying to play as. Placing bombs felt like something I need to click to perform but then the actual effect worked more like the witch girl's attacks. And the kick only works in a direct horizontal line, which I only discovered after trying to line up shots.
  • The bomb girl's kick should do something to enemies. 1 point of damage or push them or anything.
  • Not sure how to get coins, but getting 99999 of them seemed impossible without a grind.
  • In the menus, it should be "config" not "confing".

Maybe I will think of another second ability for the bomber girl, the kick don't feel powerful or useful and many people just  ignored it.  Also, thank you for finding the error in the menu, I will fix it and thank you for playing the game.

Update 0.0.4 character was fun to play, I really like to use her!
There is a lot of things in my mind about the game but gonna comment only on something that is after completing the time and I need to fight the summoner, should probably have some arrow pointing towards him OR he starts summoning anyway after you complete the time so you need to find him.

It took me a while to find him after clear the time.

But The game overall is looking good! Gonna wait for new updates!

In the next update I will put an arrow for the summoner, many people say they have trouble finding him so it will be an improvement to game. Glad your liking the game so far.

Thing I noticed is the getting coin system, I played for around 8m? don't remember and completed the timer but died for the ground enemy and I only got 10 coins? for every game I get 10 coins  and it's a lot to save up to a new character, I don't know how much it is in coins if you win a match but for the players if they feel the progress takes way too much time they will probably stop playing instead of replaying a lot and have fun.
But that's about it Im really enjoying the game so far!

Is good to know you are liking the game so far, about the coins, I only put 10 coins per round because I'm still working on the other characters and this is only a demo/alpha, so even if the player get the coins there aren't really other characters to play with. The final version of the game will give more coins, enough to buy a new character or spend on masteries. Thanks for playing.
